However you got here, I'm sure you have questions.
What is The Way of Here?
The main focus of this site is collaborative work.
Define "collaborative" very loosely. There are opportunities to work with each other writing stories. A feed aggregator collects the latest news from members' sites that are located at other sites. And there's the prerequisite forum for discussing work going on at other parts of The Way of Here, posting nanofiction and poetry, and generally socializing.
Where do I start?
Start by checking out the "What's New Here?" tab at the top. That will give you the bird's-eye view of everything that's happening on the site.
If you're more a visual type or a little adventurous, check out a submenu option to the "What's New Here?" link called "What's Hot?".
Collaborative stories?
Yes--check out the "Collaborative books" for a FAQ and some of our work.
Who's the intended audience?
Folks who are interested in spending time with each other creatively, generally.
Overall, the place will have a PG-13 rating. Sort of a family gathering with your younger nephews and grandparents around.
What is the Trackback stuff?
Trackbacks are a way to have conversations across blogs. More information can be found here.
